My Sim Card Suddenly Stopped Working In Smart Phones, It Works Fine In Simple Phones. How? Why?

I have an old Idea sim card. I was using it in my nokia xpress music phone for about 5 years but suddenly stopped working in ALL SMART phones but works in my another simple videocon handset. Please suggest.
